Ndou, Ngobe depart Polokwane

KickOff.com understands that Polokwane City are set to part ways with Rendani Ndou and Randy Ngobe, with the duo not in coach Bernard Molekwa's plans for the new season.
Ndou, who turns 30 on August 12, has spent the last three years with Rise and Shine but saw his contract in Polokwane come to an end of June.
Meanwhile, during the 2017 January transfer window, reports emerged that City were willing to release the 26-year-old eMalahleni-born Ngobe after he failed to break into then coach Luc Eymael's starting line-up.
However, the club ended up keeping him for the rest of the season, but his time with the Limpopo side has now come to an end.
"The team has left for a pre-season camp in Jo’burg, and both players [Ngobe and Ndou], together with Tshepo Tema, were left behind,” a source within the club tells KickOff.com.
"Ngobe and Ndou are definitely being released, they are not in the coach's plans."
When this website contacted Ngobe for comment, he said Polokwane City had left for Johannesburg without explaining anything to himself or Ndou.
"I really don't know what is happening, I wasn't told anything,” he says.
Both club chairman Johnny Mogaladi and head coach Bernard Molekwa have been unavailable for comment this week.
