Moon expects more from himself

Bafana Bafana striker Ryan Moon feels he should have been more ruthless against Botswana, but is still thrilled with his international contributions.
The Kaizer Chiefs striker scored in both legs of South Africa’s 2018 African Nations Championship qualifying encounters against the Zebras, clinching a 3-0 aggregate win.
However, Moon - who scored on his debut in the 2-0 first-leg win before making it two in two to secure a 1-0 victory in the return fixture at the weekend - feels the national team could have won by a much more convincing scoreline
“We should have beaten them with a least four to five goals, with me scoring a hat-trick. However, I am more than happy with my two goals in the two matches for Bafana Bafana,” Moon said on Chiefs’ official website.
Moon is now turning his attentions back to Amakhosi, where he hopes to work his way into the starting XI for Saturday’s Carling Black Label Champions Cup clash against bitter rivals Orlando Pirates.
“I am excited, now I am itching to make my mark for Kaizer Chiefs,” he added.
“That [the Carling Cup] is something exciting to look forward to. I love it as well that the supporters choose the team. Let’s see if enough fans voted for me to get me in the starting line-up.”
