New Polokwane City signing Wiseman Maluleke understands that the bar has been raised at the Limpopo outfit after finishing last season inside the top eight for the first time in their history.

The 25-year-old moved from National First Division outfit Jomo Cosmos, penning a three-year deal with Rise and Shine.

Maluleke has already received a run out for his new club, featuring for them in a pre-season tournament that involved Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits.

"Being part of Polokwane City is a great feeling. I am already feeling at home after they welcomed me with warm hearts and everyone is helping me to adjust to the philosophy of the team," says the Giyani-born midfielder.

"Getting a run in the pre-season has helped me to get to know each and every person and individual in the team and take note that the expectactions are high after the achievements of last season."

Rise and Shine has already released the likes of Tlou Segolela and Sipho Jembula to accomodate their latest acquisitions.
