KickOff.com can reveal that Platinum Stars have completed the signing of Luvolwethu Mpeta.

Mpeta spent the past season on loan at Stars from SuperSport United with an option of an outright buy.

The latest information reaching KickOff.com is that Dikwena have now taken up the option of a permanent deal as confirmed by Senzo Mazingiza, the club’s general manager.

“We are taking him outright,” confirms Mazingiza talking to KickOff.com.

“We had an option for a permanent transfer. It is now done and he has signed the contract on a permanent transfer as of Friday."

Mpeta managed 11 appearances in all competitions last season.

The 27-year-old initially played for Dikwena when he broke into the PSL before being snapped by SuperSport who have since moved him back to where they acquired him from.
