Following his rise to international football, Amajimbos striker Junior Nare has revealed his ambition of one day donning the colours of Kaizer Chiefs.
Nare bagged a brace in South Africa's 3-2 defeat to Zambia in their second COSAFA under-17 Championship Group B clash on Sunday, in what was only his second international apperance.
"I am humbled and I see the results in the hard work my family has invested in me. It’s a nice feeling to know that I played a role in putting a smile on people’s faces [by scoring those two goals]," Nare told SAFA.net.
"I think that there are some top teams in this tournament with a lot of quality players. They provide good competition and help me grow as a player."
Following on from his breakthrough, the Alexander Black Aces youngster has pointed out his aims of playing for Amakhosi, en route to one day moving to the English Premier League and representing Bafana Bafana at a World Cup.
"I would love to play for Kaizer Chiefs, make a huge mark and hopefully move aboard to the English Premier League," he revealed.
"I want to become one of the greatest footballers in South Africa who will ensure that we represent the country with pride at a FIFA World Cup."
