PSL still to rule on Bloemfontein Celtic and Dumisani Zuma contract dispute

Posted: 19 July 2017 Time: 12:37

Wantaway Bloemfontein Celtic forward Dumisani Zuma is still waiting for the PSL to rule on his contract dispute with the club.

According to a well-placed source, the 22-year-old is pushing for a move to Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs even though Celtic are adamant they have an option on the player.

"Zuma is refusing to continue playing for Celtic," a reliable source close to the player tells KickOff.com.

"He wants to go to Chiefs, but I think he will be staying with Celtic because he's still left with a season there."

A product of Celtic's development, Zuma was promoted to the first team in July 2014 and has gone on to score four goals in 63 appearances for Phunya Sele Sele.

Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco confirmed to this website the status of the matter: "Zuma's matter is still a case, it's a PSL case now."
