Free State Stars head coach Sammy Troughton says he still wants to see more of trialists Olivier Kwizera and Badra Ali Sangare before making a decision on the two goalkeepers.
The pair represented Stars at the Bokone Bophirima Maize Cup on Saturday, as Troughton's side beat Platinum Stars 1-0 in the semi-final before losing 1-0 to Kaizer Chiefs in the final at James Motlatsi Stadium.
"We are still going to work with them this week, then we can make a decision," Troughton tells KickOff.com.
"I think we got a game against [Bloemfontein] Celtic this weekend. They both [Kwizera and Sangare] look decent, I could sign one of them or both but we are only back at training on Wednesday. We've seen them in a game-like situation, now we want to see them at training. We want to take a closer look at things like handling of the ball, as well as in goalkeeping drills," adds Troughton, who also continues to run the rule over former Chiefs striker Edward Manqele.
Maritzburg United and PSL champions Bidvest Wits expressed interest in the 22-year-old Kwizera a year ago.
