Former Bidvest Wits defender Tebogo Moerane's search for a club is proving to be a nightmare.

Youth international defender Tebogo Moerane has surfaced at Platinum Stars after Baroka changed their minds about signing him.
Moerane has been training with Baroka after agreeing to a deal with the club but has now been told he is no longer needed, which forced him to turn to Stars.
Dikwena are in need of a left back and have also been assessing Pentjie Zulu, the former Jomo Cosmos player who has recently struggled for game time at Bidvest Wits and Chippa United.
Despite showing some promise with the junior national teams, Moerane has struggled to get going in his club career in the four years since he broke into the PSL ranks at Wits. He made just 12 appearances and he is now looking for a home where he can fulfil his potential.
Competition for places at Wits was just too tough, so much so that he did not even play a single game the whole of last season, which is what led to Wits not renewing his contract.
What’s strange, though, is that Baroka chairman Khurishi Mphahlele knows nothing about the player leaving Baroka.
According to Mphahlele, coach Kgoloko Thobejane felt Moerane was only good enough to play in Baroka’s Multichoice Diski Challenge (MDC) side and it seems the player and his agent were not happy with this.
“From what I know, the player is with us. The coach [Thobejane] recommended that we play him in the MDC. The agent will come tell us if he has left,” Mphahlele tells KickOff.com.
“We had not signed him yet,” he adds.
