Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Mame Niang will continue to play his football in Norway after signing a short-term deal with Kongsvinger IL.

Niang recently had a short stint with National First Division outfit Stellenbosch FC, his goals helping the team qualify for the PSL promotion play-offs.

The Senegalese striker, who played for University of Pretoria and Supersport United, has signed with the Norwegian side until December.

First division side Kongsvinger are looking to get themselves back into the Eliteserien.

Niang has confirmed his move to Kongsvinger - a third spell with a club he first turned out for in 2010 before making his way to South Africa.

"I am back with my former club. I have signed  contract until December," Niang tells KickOff.com.
