Richards Bay United sign Khayelihle Shozi on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns

KickOff.com can reveal that National First Division side Richards Bay United have completed the signing of midfielder Khayelihle Shozi from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Black Leopards and made a significant impact as the Limpopo side chased promotion.

Lidoda Duvha were said to be keen on keeping Shozi but the KwaZulu-Natal born player has seemingly opted for a club closer to home.

Shozi, who shot to prominence as one of the stand-out players in the 2015/16 season of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge, is joined at United by former FC Cape Town midfielder Andile Khumalo.

He signs a one-year loan deal with the club.

Meanwhile, United have also enlisted the services of  former Royal Eagles CEO Richard Makhoba as their new General Manager.
