SuperSport backing for Phala

SuperSport United have leaped to the defence of midfielder Thuso Phala following allegations of abuse.
Phala has come under the spotlight this week after allegations making the rounds on social media claimed he had abused a women, who is said to have pressed chargers with the Sa Police Service.
The club have since come out in support of their player, who has denied the allegations, while also strongly condemning any form of violence against both women and children.
"SuperSport United has become aware of allegations of abuse involving Thuso Phala circulating on social media," read a club statement.
"The club has spoken to the player, who denies the allegations and has sought legal advice against these defamatory allegations.
"SuperSport United will let the law take its course, suffice to say that the club condemns violence of any form, especially against women and children."
