Cape Town City midfielder Lebogang Manyama could still complete his switch to African champions Mamelodi Sundowns, as his agent refuses to rule the move out.
Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has previously publicly expressed his desire to bring Manyama to Tshwane, much to the dismay of City boss John Comitis.
The Brazilians recently rekindled that interest, posting a cryptic tweet in response to the Bafana Bafana attacker's Instagram post.
Meanwhile, Manyama's representative Alfred Phiri has since confirmed he had a meeting with Comitis this week, but insists the player's future was not discussed.
"Well, I'm not even aware of the Sundowns tweet, I'm hearing about it for the first time from you," Phiri tells KickOff.com.
"Yes, I was with John [Comitis] yesterday, but he didn't say anything to me about Sundowns and the player. We just talked business, that's all."
However, a move cannot entirely be written off, says the former Moroka Swallows midfielder.
"I cannot speak for another person [Comitis] because it might happen that they [Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns] are negotiating, I don't know. I can't confirm or deny anything," he adds.
