SuperSport United CEO Stanley Matthews rules out exit of Mamelodi Sundowns target Jeremy Brockie

Posted: 21 June 2017 Time: 10:05

Despite strong interest from Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews has revealed that striker Jeremy Brockie will not be sold “for any price”.

Sundowns are reported to have tabled a bid for the New Zeland international following his impressive displays for Matsatsantsa, where he finished the season as the club’s top scorer with 15 goals, and with six assists to boot.

Brockie still has two years left on his contract with United and while Sundowns are believed to have put in a lucrative offer, SuperSport are unwilling to part ways with one of their most-prized assets.

"He [Brockie] is not for sale,” Mathews tells KickOff.com.

"We are not selling for any price,” he adds.

Brockie will be hoping to add to his goal tally for the season when SuperSport United lock horns with Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final on Saturday.
