Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Raymond Monama will definitely be playing Absa Premiership football next season, so says the player's agent Vasili Katz.
The 28-year-old Seshego-born attacker's contract with National First Division side Royal Eagles is set to expire at the end of this month (June).
Monama has recently been linked with a move to Bloemfontein Celtics, however, Katz says Johannesburg teams have since expressed interest in his client.
"Yes, the player is free but we are still speaking to a couple of clubs," Katz tells KickOff.com. "There are a lot of clubs that we are speaking to, mostly teams from Jo'burg. We are just waiting to finalise a few things."
Katz has also confirmed that Monama is loooking to play with the 'big boys' next season, and thus offers from NFD clubs will not be considered.
"Definitely [we are speaking to] PSL teams, of course, we are not going to look in the NFD. We are just looking at which offer is best for us before making a decision," he concludes.
