Pentjie Zulu has confirmed that he will be parting ways with Chippa United less than six months after joing the Eastern Cape outfit.
The former Jomo Cosmos player joined Chippa United from Bidvest Wits on transfer deadline day this year and says the club informed him of his departure today.
"It's confirmed, Peter [Koutroulis] has just confirmed to me that I will be let go," Zulu tells KickOff.com.
"I'm just waiting for my clearance, which they have promised to send soon. I don't feel great but it's their decision, as for me I can't do anything about it."
The 27-year-old saw his progress at the Chilli Boys curtailed by disciplinary issues and when he did get his chance in a game against Orlando Pirates he was withdrawn less than 10 minutes into the tie with an injury.
Zulu says he hopes to get a team soon so he can continue living his childhood dream of being a PSL player.
"What I can say is that I'm now a free agent, but if I get a team it must be a PSL team," he concluded.
