Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed the return of defender Wayne Arendse from a lengthy lay-off with an ankle injury.
Arendse was ruled out for six-to-eight weeks with a torn ligament in his left ankle, which he sustained in Downs' 1-1 CAF Champions League draw with Kampala City Council back in March.
The club on Wednesday announced the news via their official Twitter page, as they gear up for their Champions League group C clash away to Esperance next Wednesday evening.
The 32-year-old centre-back recently penned a new two-year deal with the Brazilians, which will see him remain at Chloorkop until at least 2020, with the club having an option on a further year.
Pitso Mosimane's side are currently in third place in their group, with four points from three games, and trail Ethiopian side St George and their Tunisian rivals by one and three points respectively.
