KickOff.com has learnt that Kaizer Chiefs have made enquiries about the services of Polokwane City midfielder Edgar Manaka.
Manaka's contract with Rise and Shine is set to expire at the end of this month and speculation is rife that could be headed to Gauteng to join one of the Johannesburg-based clubs.
Amakhosi have already parted ways with no fewer than seven players following their fruitless 2016/17 PSL season, and this website can reveal the Soweto giants are keen on Manaka, while also discussing the possibility of a move for striker Lerato Manzini from Chippa United.
"There has been some contact with Manaka's representative but nothing is finalised yet,” a source close to the proposed deal tells KickOff.com.
"There has also been discussions about Lerato Manzini. The club will make an announcement about their new signings, probably next week,” the source adds.
