KickOff.com has gathered that Malawian striker Chiukepo Msowoya has agreed to re-join former club Nyasa Big Bullets following a disastrous spell with Golden Arrows.
Msowoya signed with Arrows in January on a deal running to the end of June, despite having only training with the club for two weeks prior to penning terms.
In six appearances for Abafana Bes’thende, three of which were from the substitutes’ bench, he scored an own goal, got red carded and suffered a hamstring injury to contribute very little to the club’s campaign.
As such, the 28-year-old’s contract will not be renewed and KickOff.com can reveal he will instead return to Malawi when his deal expires at the end of the month.
His contract at Bullets is being handled by the club’s sponsors, Nyasa Manufacturing Company.
Ranked amongst some the worst foreign strikers to play in the PSL, the journeyman forward has also previously represented Orlando Pirates and Platinum Stars in South Africa.
