SuperSport United defender Clayton Daniels says he is looking forward to working with new coach Eric Tinkler after extending his contract with the club.
The 32-year-old Cape Town-born player has already notched up more than 50 games for Matsatsantsa since joining in 2014 from Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.
And while Daniels has never worked under former Orlando Pirates coach Tinkler, he is of the opinion the tactician - who made the shock switch from Cape Town City this month - can continue spearheading the success the Pretoria-based outfit has enjoyed over the last few years.
“Tinkler has proven to be one of the most ambitious coaches in the PSL,” Daniels tells KickOff.com.
“He has proven this with Cape Town City last season. He’s passionate about the game and driven by success.
“This bodes well for the club [SuperSport United]. I’m excited about this prospect and looking forward to working with him as it will it be my first outing with the coach,” Daniels concludes.
