KickOff.com has been informed that South Africa Under-23 striker Lebo Mothiba will return on loan to Valenciennes in the French Ligue 2 next season.
Mothiba was promoted at the start of this past season by Lille after he joined them from now defunct Diambers Academy in 2014.
However, contending for a place against Portugal's European Championship hero Eder he found his game time under Marcello Bielsa extremely limited.
Lille decided to loan him to Valenciennes in January transfer window and he scored two goals in nine league appearances as Faruk Hadzibegic's side finished 14th in the log table.
Jihed Taniche, who represents the player, has revealed that Lille will again loan Mothiba to Valenciennes and the move will be official sometime this week.
"Lebo will return on loan to Valnenciennes. It's going to be official this week," Taniche tells this website from France.
"The club wants to be become one of the biggest teams in the league behind PSG and Monaco. Also, the reason beind loaning him, we want him to play for Bafana Bafana in the future."
Mothiba, who was part of last year's Olympic Games team for South Africa in Brazil under Owen da Gama, is currently back in the country for season break.
