KickOff.com has established that Chippa United are sounding out the idea of enticing Lucky Baloyi to their camp following this website's revelation that Kaizer Chiefs have cut ties with him.
Also keen are Polokwane City, Baroka and Platinum Stars who have all raised their heads with the idea of luring Baloyi to their respective camps.
Baloyi is a free agent at the moment and in possession of his clearance which allows for him to join any club of his choice without any transfer fees being paid.
An honest, hard working footballer; the 25 year-old has been playing in the PSL since the 2010/11 season and is capable of playing both as a central defender and a holding midfielder.
With Chippa keen to assemble a strong squad for next season that will not be floating just above the relegation waters like they did this season they have identified Baloyi as a potential signing.
Initial talks are said to have already begun while Polokwane, Baroka and Platinum Stars are also in the picture.
KickOff.com is monitoring all developments around the former national under-20 captain.
