Junaid Sait on the way out at Stellenbosch FC

Posted: 12 June 2017 Time: 14:02

KickOff.com has been informed that Junaid Sait is set to leave Stellenbosch FC following a commanding season with the National First Division club.

Sait joined Stellenbosch in August last year and put in a fine shift for the club, helping them qualify for their ultimately fruitless Promotion Playoff campaign.

This website has it on good authority that two PSL clubs have made enquiries over his services, while there are also options being considered in Europe, where there is a possibility of a move to Portugal.

Sait, who is the son of retired footballer Kamaal, has previously played in Sweden after having spent time at the Stars of Africa, which has widespread contacts across Europe.

The 24-year-old has been a top performer for the Western Cape club this season, which explains why his imminent departure comes as no surprise.
