George last week penned a two-year contract with Ajax after attracting attention with 20 goals for Royal Eagles in the second tier in 2016/17.

"I'm going to Ajax, I signed two days ago," George tells KickOff.com."They bought me out of my contract with Eagles.

"They were actually my first preference as this move is a step closer to overseas because I can go to Amsterdam one day.

"It's a two-year contract with a two-year option," adds the striker.
