Safa have announced that they will investigate two ridiculous scorelines in the Northern Cape Vodacom Second Division, including one of 50-0!
Namaqua Stars humiliated lowly Kakamus Cosmos by the absurd scoreline to overtake Real Madrid at the top of the log.
However, Safa has also issued another extraordinary result between Real Madrid and Young Pirates, who are sixth in the League. Madrid thrashed Pirates 26-2 away from home and now Safa is investigating both results.
Victor Matshogo, Safa’s League officer, says he was shocked when the scores came in, but when KickOff.com contacted a spokesperson for Stars, he wasn’t at all surprised with the result, saying: “It’s quite possible to get 50 goals in one match. “I wasn’t at the match, but the score at half-time was around 25-0.
“It is a genuine result, not fake, but we are concerned because how can Real Madrid score 26 times against such a good side as Pirates?”
Stars have now netted 106 goals in 29 games, with Madrid just behind them on 92, while at the other end of the log, Kakamus have conceded 126 goals – with a difference of -81.
