Luc Eymael eager to resolve Polokwane City situation

Belgium coach Luc Eymael has told KickOff.com that he is prepared to work together with Polokwane City in finding a solution to his sticky situation.

Though the 2016/17 PSL season is done and dusted, the Polokwane City coach is still in the country as he doesn't want to leave for Belgium without knowing where his future with Rise and Shine lies.

"Yes, I'm still in Polokwane," Eymael tells KickOff.com.

"Before returning to Belgium, I have to know what will happen with me. I had to meet the chairman today, but I didn't get any news. So I'm waiting.

"I don't know, because they told me that we'll have a meeting today, but I don't know when or what time – I don't have any news. I don't know what his intentions are. But today I saw a story on another website with numbers that are not true. It was not me [who said those things] because I don't want to communicate with people.

“So I can’t say anything else because I don't know. That's why I have to wait … whether we have a meeting or not, we will see.

"I will wait until the end of this week; if nothing happens, then I have to go back to Belgium and work for my family. I have a job in Belgium, I'm a sport and biology professor at a college. I can't let my family and children live without money. I can restart my job there whenever I want to. I think everyone deserves to work. Let's see what will happen at the end of this week."

When asked if he was willing to buy out his contract with City if given the option to do so, the Belgian insisted he’d have to meet with the club first before entertaining those thoughts.

"I can't reply because to find an agreement, you have to be two and meet,” he said. “Only God knows what will happen … I did my part, I followed the ruling, I didn't talk to the media and I showed a good faith."
