Agent Paul Mitchell tells KickOff.com there is no truth in a recent report that his client Siyanda Xulu will leave Kaizer Chiefs if Steve Komphela remains in charge.
On Sunday, a report broke quoting the defender’s agent as saying Xulu was fed up with life under Komphela, and would look for a move away in July should the tactician remain in the Naturena hotseat.
However, KickOff.com has since been in contact with Mitchell, who also represents Montpellier and Bafana Bafana star Keagan Dolly, and he has reacted angrily to the claims, insisting he gave no such interview, and that Xulu has no plans for an immediate move away from Amakhosi.
“Fake news,” a furious Mitchell told this website when speaking of the claims about Xulu.
“They [Kaizer Chiefs] lose a game and all of a sudden the [Xulu] story breaks…?
“If the club doesn't want him [Xulu], they’ll tell him and we’ll sit down and take it from there.”
