KickOff.com can confirm that Golden Arrows have exercised the option of a further two years on Zimbabwean midfielder Danny Phiri’s contract.
Phiri joined Arrows at the beginning of the season on a one-year deal with an option of two more years, which the club has now activated.
The reason behind the club’s decision to keep Phiri is due to the impact that he has made within his 25 appearances in all competitions this season.
His representatives have confirmed the latest developments, which will keep the 27-year-old in Durban until at least June 2019.
Phiri is a regular feature in the Warriors' national team and joined Arrows from former Zimbabwean champions Chicken Inn.
