Keagan Dolly was afforded just a handful of minutes as Montpellier slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Lille in a French Ligue 1 clash on Saturday evening.
The Bafana Bafana international would have to wait until the 85th minute before being introduced from the substitutes’ bench, but by then his side were already trailing by the two goals, leaving him little chance to impress.
Lille had taken the lead after just 13 minutes as Nicolas de Preville slotted home from the penalty spot before Xeka got the second nine minutes after the break.
The visitors would eventually seal the points with a third goal 15 minutes from time as Martin Terrier found the back of the net, leaving Montpellier and Dolly some seven points clear of the relegation zone with three games remaining this season.
