Mamelodi Sundowns to extend Themba Zwane's contract at Chloorkop

KickOff.com has established that Mamelodi Sundowns will take up the option of an extension on Themba Zwane’s contract.

Zwane’s existing contract with the club that he signed two years ago runs up at the end of June, but Sundowns have an option which they are keen on activating.

The 27-year-old initially joined The Brazilians from lower division club Vardos on a four-year deal in 2011, before then signing a two-year extension two years ago.

The two-year extension contains an option to renew again which the club will iron out in the next couple of weeks.

Zwane has been a regular this season which has enabled him to score seven goals in all competitions to date.
