Matome Mathiane and Golden Arrows closing in on new deal as contract talks progress

KickOff.com can confirm that Matome Mathiane is set to continue his stay with Golden Arrows as negotiations relating to a new contract are progressing well.

Mathiane’s current deal expires at the end of the current campaign but information reaching this website is that talks over a new deal are already in motion, with both parties confident of reaching an agreement.

REPORT: Arrows, Ajax share the spoils

Mathiane has captained Arrows whenever he has started this season, with all his appearances coming as a central defender, while he has played in all of Abafana Bes'thende's last 10 games in all competitions.

The 28-year-old, born in Bochum, Limpopo, has only ever played for Arrows in the PSL, having joined from lower division club Vardos four years ago.
