KickOff.com can confirm that Matome Mathiane is set to continue his stay with Golden Arrows as negotiations relating to a new contract are progressing well.
Mathiane’s current deal expires at the end of the current campaign but information reaching this website is that talks over a new deal are already in motion, with both parties confident of reaching an agreement.
Mathiane has captained Arrows whenever he has started this season, with all his appearances coming as a central defender, while he has played in all of Abafana Bes'thende's last 10 games in all competitions.
The 28-year-old, born in Bochum, Limpopo, has only ever played for Arrows in the PSL, having joined from lower division club Vardos four years ago.
