Modjeka Madisha grateful for support from Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Modjeka Madisha has expressed gratitude to coach Pitso Mosimane for showing belief in his abilities.

Madisha is enjoying game-time in the business end of the season, reasserting his worth with a second straight man-of-the-match award in the 1-0 win over SuperSport United on Wednesday night.

The 22-year-old MultiChoice Diski Challenge product insists the Brazilians expected a tougher rematch with SuperSport following the 5-0 rout of their neighbours last week.

"We knew it was not gonna be easy, we had to fight and fortunately we managed to score," Madisha told SuperSportTV.

"As a team we had to fight, we had to come to the party and play our role, and you can see we managed to win.

"I would also like to dedicate [the MOM award] to my mother and father for being there for me. I would also like to thank the coaches for believing in me and giving me an opportunity to play.

"So we take it one day at a time and we will focus."
