Orlando Pirates coach Kjell Jonevret has expressed confidence in Ayanda Nkosi after giving the striker a run in the goalless draw with Highlands Park.
Nkosi made his first outing under Jonevret, who joined Bucs in February, when he replaced Thembinkosi Lorch in the 80th minute at Makhulong Stadium on Saturday night.
"He has been positive," said Jonevret of Nkosi.
"He was close that he should have been with us and played a little bit more one or two weeks ago, but he got an injury at the last training [session] before the league game against Free State Stars.
"He has been positive. He works hard at training. He is really a nice guy. We gonna see more of him."
The Swede also praised goalkeeper Siyabonga Mpontshane for keeping another clean sheet. The ex-Platinum Stars man barely featured for the Soweto giants over the past two years prior to Jonevret's arrival at Mayfair.
"He has conceded one goal in three games. However, it is not only about him but the whole team in front of him."
