Dan Malesela: Chippa United must improve for Kaizer Chiefs following Polokwane City draw

Chippa United coach Dan Malesela says his team must improve on all fronts when they face title contenders Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Saturday evening.
Chippa, who were held to a goalless draw by Polokwane City on Tuesday, have gone eight league matches without a win leaving them just three points above the drop zone with seven games left.
Chiefs are contrastingly unbeaten in 11 league matches following a 2-0 win at Bloemfontein Celtic in midweek, and are just three points shy of log leaders Cape Town City.
The Chilli Boys beat Amakhosi 3-1 in the reverse fixture in December, but Malesela is well aware momentum is now very much in the Soweto giants' favour.
"Everywhere and all departments and it includes everybody in the team," says Malesela when asked where the Port Elizabeth-based outfit need to raise their performance.
"Because, I can tell you Daniel [Akpeyi], yes, wasn't threatened [against Polokwane], but on a different day if you are really attacking, attacking, attacking, and you let a one-versus-one situation come up then you can be punished.
"So we've got to fix this thing with defenders. We also have to fix this with midfielders to say why have we have been so loose? We've got to fix the scoring part, why are we not committing to scoring? So we've got to fix these things."
Malesela is boosted by the return from a two-match ban of the club's top scorer Lerato Manzini, who netted two of his seven goals against the Glamour Boys in Port Elizabeth.
