Khama Billiat insists no one player carries Mamelodi Sundowns' successes or failures

Mamelodi Sundowns attacking midfielder Khama Billiat insists the success or failure of the club does not revolve around one player, but rather the entire team.
Sundowns have been hit by a poor run of form in recent weeks, having failed to win any of their last five Absa Premiership matches while they were also recently booted out of the Nedbank Cup after a shock 1-0 loss to Golden Arrows.
Billiat, who has only just returned from a lengthy injury lay-off, has scored the only goal the team have managed during that run, but says all squad members play a role in the club's success, and failure.
"Everyone [in the team] is important because anyone can score goals anytime," said Billiat.
"It's not about anyone else, it will be selfish of someone thinking of himself when the club is not doing well," he added.
Sundowns will need to pick themselves up when they host SuperSport United in the Tshwane Derby at Loftus Versfeld on Thursday.
And, with the Brazilians sitting one place and one point below fourth-placed Matsatsantsa, who themselves are seven points off the summit, Pitso Mosimane's men know that anything less than the three points could spell the end of the league title aspirations.
"The pressure is always there. Our supporters are always behind us every game we ply and so there is always pressure [to please the fans]," he added.
"We have pressure to deliver and play well all the time."
