Mamelodi Sundowns set to allow Teko Modise and Thabo Nthethe's contracts to expire

KickOff.com has learned that Mamelodi Sundowns are considering allowing Teko Modise and Thabo Nthethe to leave the club at the end of the season.

The pair both see their respective contracts with the Brazilians come to an end in June, and with neither yet to reach an extension, their futures in Tshwane are in doubt.

Also up for discussion at Sundowns is Siyanda Zwane, whose deal also expires in the middle of the year, although he has a one-year option to consider.

"The club [Sundowns] is looking at bringing in new blood next season, with one or two players expected to be promoted from the MDC [Multichoice Diski Challenge] team," a source close to the Chloorkop club tells KickOff.com.

"Two of the youngsters from the MDC team gave already been invited to train with the first team.

"Teko [Modise] and [Thabo] Nthethe's contracts are not going to be renewed. Siyanda [Zwane's] issue is still under discussion as he has one year option on his contract," the source adds.
