Dan Malesela rules out individual plan for Lebogang Manyama and Aubrey Ngoma

Chippa United coach Dan Malesela says there will be no special game-plan for Cape Town City’s dangermen Lebogang Manyama and Aubrey Ngoma in tonight’s clash at Athlone Stadium.

Manyama and Ngoma have been the stars in City's success in their maiden Premiership season so far.

Manyama has netted 11 goals with 1 assist in the league whilst his partner in crime Ngoma has 10 assists and 2 goals in the league for the Citizens.

"No, no, no, no. We just going to focus on the team [as a whole] because, if you focus on Aubrey and Lebogang, somebody else will pop up and then comes a problem. So, we don't really deal with individuals, we deal with a team," Malesela tells

"We respect the club and we respect the team. We really do not give special attention to individuals because they might be off [form] and you would have missed the plot, so we plan for the team."

Malesela also says the support they get when playing away from home has been amazing and sometimes overwhelms the players.

"It's always a plus if you have supporters [away]. It's always a plus for any side or any team. We actually have been fortunate, even before I came here the club have been enjoying support even outside of PE [Port Elizabeth] or East London," he adds.

"That helps us a lot and it motivates, and sometimes it surprises the players saying, 'Awu, kanti [actually] we've got supporters here as well.'

"So we just have to get motivation for that and build this club to a national thing, even though we belong [in Port Elizabeth]."
