Innocent Nemukondeni in trouble with University of Pretoria

Posted: 24 March 2017 Time: 11:20

University of Pretoria midfielder Innocent Nemukondeni is in hot water with the club after refusing to train with the club's development team.

Nemukondeni was sent to train with AmaTuks Under-19 team by first team coach Shaun Bartlett as punishment after participating in an off-season tournament without the club’s knowledge.

The former Alexandra United midfielder however refused to train with the club's development side and was later hauled before the club's disciplinary committee.

"Yes, the player appeared before the club's DC for misconduct,” a club official tells KickOff.com. "He was represented by his agent, DJ Cleo.

"The club will deliver judgment on the case soon.”

Tuks currently lie ninth on the National First Division log, five points adrift of Stellenbosch FC who sit in the final promotion play-off berth.
