Glenn Moss coming to South Africa after Wellington Phoenix exit

Posted: 20 March 2017 Time: 11:14

Wellington Phoenix goalkeeper Glenn Moss will be leaving the Australian A-League side when his contract ends in April and will be coming to South Africa.

According to Moss's agent, Reaz Moorad, his client has attracted interest from two Gauteng-based outfits and one from KwaZulu-Natal.

Moorad negotiated the deals that saw Jeremy Brockie and Michaell Boxall join SuperSport United from Phoenix.

"I had a meeting with Glenn and he confirmed to me that he's officially leaving Wellington Phoenix at the end of the season which ends in April," Moorad tells KickOff.com from New Zealand.

"He's also in the process of selling his house in Wellington."

Moss yesterday linked up with the New Zealand national side in preparation for back-to-back World Cup qualifiers with Fiji.

The 34-year-old, who was named Phoenix's player of the season last term, has played in 22 of his club's 23 games this season.
