A round-up of the South African players abroad this past weekend, with Keagan Dolly, Kermit Erasmus and Andile Jali struggling to make impacts.
Dolly played the last half an hour for Montpellier as they were thumped 5-1 by Bordeaux in France’s Ligue 1.
Erasmus did not make it off the bench for French Ligue 2 leaders Lens as they won 2-0 at Reims.
Jali was an unused substitute as KV Oostende saw their dreams of a first ever major trophy dashed with a penalty shoot-out loss to Zulte-Waregem in the Belgian Cup final after a 3-3 draw.
Mokotjo played for Dutch side FC Twente as they won 3-0 at Roda JC.
After injury had kept him sidelined, Mothiba finally made his debut at loan side Valenciennes in Ligue 2, coming off the bench just past the hour-mark in a 4-0 loss to Tours.
No goals for Ndlovu as his Azerbaijan side Qarabag drew 0-0 with Zira but stay top of the standings.
Phiri played the full game for Brondby as they won 3-2 at home to Lyngby.
Rantie came off the bench for Turkish side Genclerbirligi as they won 1-0 against Caykur.
Singh was rested by Sporting Braga B as he prepares for a first Bafana Bafana call-up.
Untersee played for Italian Serie B side Brescia in their 1-1 draw with Sepzia.
Zungu played for Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes in their 3-0 home win over Rio Ave.
