Jabulani Maluleke commits to Polokwane City

Posted: 17 March 2017 Time: 10:37

KickOff.com can confirm that Polokwane City captain Jabulani Maluleke will stay with the team next season.

The former SuperSport United and Black Leopards midfielder has agreed to a contract extension, with his previous deal set to expire in June.

"I am happy in the team," Maluleke tells this website. "Yeah, next year I will be with the team. Everything has been negotiated and I am happy about it.

"The team has treated me well. I have been here for a few years now [since July, 2014], I am happy at the club."

Maluleke, who turned 35 today, plans to ply his trade until his body says otherwise.

"As long as the body allows me [I will continue playing]. I will listen to my body and see how far it takes me," he adds.

He has only missed one of Rise and Shine's 21 league games in 2016/17.
