Multichoice Diski Challenge champions Mamelodi Sundowns are set to travel with Samuel Julies and Sibusiso Kumalo on their week-long tour of Holland.

Julies and Kumalo have both found breaking into the first team difficult with the former managing just two appearances, while the latter is yet to play this term.

With the trip coming on a FIFA calendar week The Brazilians have seen it fit to include the two, who made appearances in the MDC team during the season.

Since making his first team debut during the 2011-12 season, Julies has found game-time difficult to come by and has since spent time away on loan at Vasco da Gama along the way.

The 25-year-old has, however, been kept at the club as a back-up option the same way as Kumalo, who has twice gone on loan to Maritzburg United and Jomo Cosmos since being signed four years ago.

The David Notoane-coached Sundowns MDC team travels to Holland as a reward for being crowned the local champions of the reserve league, with last year’s winners Golden Arrows also having toured Europe.

They will leave on Friday and return on March 26 after playing Dutch club Excelsior Rotterdam, KAA Gent (Belgium) and Ichifuna (Japan), along with friendly matches against PEC Zwolle and AZ Alkmaar.
