Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Tiyani Mabunda is set to miss the Absa Premiership game against Polokwane City at Loftus Versfeld tomorrow due to injury.

Mabunda picked up a shoulder problem during the first leg of their CAF Champions League clash against Kampala City Council Authority in Tshwane on Friday, which saw the Brazilians labour to a 2-1 victory.

Head coach Pitso Mosimane has now confirmed he might bring in Lucky Mohomi to replace Mabunda for the game against Rise and Shine tomorrow [19h30 ko] as he looks ahead to the return fixture against Kampala.

"Mabunda is struggling with his shoulder and we might save him for Kampala. Maybe we bring in Lucky or Teko [Modise, against Polokwane]. We have options. Bangaly [Soumahoro] can also play there,” said Mosimane.
