Polokwane City's Rodney Ramagalela out, Thapelo Tshilo doubtful for Nedbank Cup clash

Posted: 7 March 2017 Time: 11:04

Polokwane City coach Luc Eymael says striker Rodney Ramagalela faces around two weeks on the sidelines, while Thapelo Tshilo is doubtful for their Nedbank Cup clash with African All Stars.

Ramagalela, who has scored eight goals this season, dislocated his right shoulder in the 0-0 draw with struggling neighbours Baroka on Sunday.

Defender Tshilo is nursing a knock to the ribs but should recover in time for the league tie with champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld on March 15.

"Ramagalela will be out for two weeks," Eymael tells "He's got a problem with a shoulder. We hope that in two weeks he will be okay, at least that's what the doctor says."

The Belgian adds: "Thapelo Tshilo will be okay for our next game [against Sundowns]. He got a knock on his ribs on Sunday. He might not make it for tomorrow's game but he will definitely be there for our next league game."

Rise and Shine will host All Stars at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday (19h30).
