Man of the Match Jody February was pleased to collect his first clean sheet of 2017 against Tshwane giants SuperSport United.
February shone as Ajax held Matsatsantsa to a goalless draw at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday night.
His efforts, which included denying Mandla Masango from point-blank range in the first half, prompted coach Stanley Menzo to admit his team were lucky to leave with a point.
February told SABC TV: "Look it was a big effort from the boys. This Man of the Match award goes to the entire team, not just me. I did my job by keeping the ball out of the poles. I thought we had a couple of half chances, we could have done a smash-and-grab and gotten the three points."
The 20-year-old added: "I think we had a solid defence, our organisation was good. We had lapses in concentration, luckily they didn't punish us. I am happy with my first clean sheet of 2017."
The Urban Warriors, in 12th place on the table with 21 points from 20 matches, next face Kwa-Dukuza United in the Nedbank Cup on March 11.
