Matsatsantsa move to the top

SuperSport United went to the top of the Absa Premiership table after a 1-0 victory over Highlands Park at Makhulong Stadium on Saturday.
Dean Furman scored the opening and only goal of the game in the 22nd minute for the visitors after powering past his man in the area and finishing from close range to make a rare appearance in the scorers' column.
Gordon Igesund came up against his former team desperate for a win that would have given his Highlands side some hope of surviving the relegation battle they are in, but the result only makes their situation worse.
Stuart Baxter's Matsatsantsa are now well in touch with the title chasers, a point ahead of the rest, but Bidvest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns have all played fewer games.
