Chippa United have been boosted by the availability of striker Lerato Manzini and midfielder Thamsanqa Sangweni for their clash against Golden Arrows.
The Chilli Boys will host Abafana Bes'thende in an Absa Premiership clash at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in Mdantsane this evening.
Manzini's return comes at an opportune time after his namesake Rhulani Manzini was sent off in last week's loss to Bloemfontein Celtic at Dr Molemela Stadium.
The 26-year-old fontman, who has scored three times in nine league appearances this season, missed Chippa's first three matches of 2017, with his last appearance coming against Ajax Cape Town before December break.
Sangweni, meanwhile, missed the last game against Phunya Sele Sele due to suspension, but will return against the Durban-based outfit this evening.
"Manzini might play or we may play without a striker, it will depend. We'll finalize everything today." said Malesela.
"We trained for both situations with an out-and-out striker and another session with the striker, but he has trained.
"Regarding Sangweni, for sure the usual [will happen]. The leadership, the performance and the guard he provides to our central defenders [is invaluable].
"It is a whole lot of things that come along with him when he's there, so we are hoping for the usual impact that he gives in the team's selection."
With the season starting to approach it's climax as matches come thick and fast, Malesela says his boys need to be smarter against Arrows after losing the return leg in Kwamashu in October.
"Like all other games it will be a very tough important," he added. "I think now it is a crucial time for us to get points so all the games are very, very important.
"And considering we'll be playing with a number of games in the short space of time, we need to be sharper. We need to be smarter when we play.
"It has always been tough against Arrows, whenever we play, it's always tough."
