'Rama' insists he is simply following orders.

"I follow the philosophy of the coach and I do what he wants me to do. If he wants to me to go up and down I'll do it," said the 27-year-old, who skippered Mamelodi Sundowns to league honours in 2015/16 before switching allegiance to the Soweto giants.

"In terms of me going up and down, that is how we play and the coach wants us to go and up down, and we've got to do it.

"Today's game, if you look, it's all about running with a lot of energy and what else can we do? We've to do what we have to do."

Chiefs, who are a point ahead of Cape Town City at the summit after 18 games, next visit Ajax Cape Town at Athlone Stadium on Saturday night (20h15).

Ajax today confirmed the fixture will go ahead after it was initially in doubt due to security concerns at the venue.

In team news, midfielder George Maluleka has recovered from injury, Siphiwe Tshabalala is nursing a knock, while Erick Mathoho is back from suspension as fellow centre-back Lorenzo Gordinho prepares to serve a one-match ban.
