Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka has returned to full training after recovering from a calf strain, but fellow attacker Siphiwe Tshabalala is nursing a knock.
Maluleka sat out Amakhosi's 1-0 win over Highlands Park at Moses Mabhida Stadium this past weekend.
“It was a minor setback and George returned today to full training,” Chiefs physiotherapist David Milner told the club's website.
“'Shabba' came back with a knock. We will assess him for the next few days,” he added of the in-form veteran.
While Lorenzo Gordinho earned a one-match ban against the Lions of the North with a fourth booking for time-wasting, central defensive partner Erick Mathoho is back from suspension.
Steve Komphela's side are scheduled to meet Ajax Cape Town at Athlone Stadium on Saturday night, although the match could be postponed due to safety concerns at the venue.
The log leaders' next game is against Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium on March 4.
