Polokwane City's Luc Eymael rubbishes claims he will take over at Orlando Pirates

Polokwane City coach Luc Eymael has lambasted the persistent rumours linking him with the soon-to-be filled hotseat at Orlando Pirates, insisting the claims are just not true.
Buccaneers chairman Dr Irvin Khoza this week told the media the troubled club will name a new coach this coming Monday [Feb 20], but that the candidate is contracted to another team and that a buy-out clause would need to be activated.
This quickly led to claims that Rise and Shine's Belgian coach Eymael was the man in question, and a SuperSport commentator even mentioned live on air during the Free State Stars and SuperSport United encounter yesterday that Eymael is expected to be revealed as Pirates coach on Monday.
That, though, has sufficiently irked Eymael, who has moved to set the record straight once and for all.
"[I want to] put it on record for the last time: I never discussed [ taking over] with Orlando Pirates, I've never discussed anything with them, is it OK?" Eymael tells KickOff.com.
"I have never been in touch with Orlando Pirates. I don't know who imagined the story but it's very wrong, very bad, very unfair because I'm here in Polokwane City and I repeat again: I never discussed [the job] with Orlando Pirates, I haven't been in touch with them this year.
"So, that's very clear. I think you understand my English. I'm not so poor in English like some other coaches, you understand [me] well, and I'm telling you the truth once again: I have never been contacted by Pirates."
