Since leaving AmaZulu not much has been heard of Shoes. That was until he popped up at Wits’ training sessions recently. But he is not after a contract. Wits coach Roger de Sa confirms this to KickOff.com: “He trained with us at the gym recently … and I said come and have a run with us.” De Sa goes on to say that “Shoes is a great role-model for the kids” and that Wits have a few youngsters in the squad who could “learn from him”. “He’s not looking for a job, as a player or a coach – he’s definitely retired. “But he may come down more often when we need him to be involved in training games and so on, which will help the younger guys. But he won’t be joining us for any of our heavy running sessions,” De Sa says with a smile.

Of course Shoes will train with Wits or Chiefs… he is allowed to do that as that’s the contract deal as if he feels like joining another TEAM… we’ll let him go.
This helps as well as he is learning from other coaches and bring his experience to our camp. So our DEAL with the MASTER is one of the BEST eMzansi. We don’t control people or coaches when they join this dynamic team: Young Stars!!!!
Shoes is indeed coaching Young Stars at the moment…

hehehe… since Jomo Cosmos got relegated… u always had a beef with me! Shoes is allowed to train wit Wits or any other TEAMS. That’s the agreement of the of the contract… u must know ue facts baba!
